The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) is delighted to announce another of its highly successful “Wake Up and Smell the Intranets” breakfasts.  This time hosted in Cleveland, the session provides an excellent opportunity for both current and potential DWG members to network, share perspectives and view two world-class intranets from Ernst & Young and PNC Bank, all served with a delicious breakfast.

The breakfast will take place in Cleveland on Thursday August 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The venue is the Cleveland Browns Stadium, which is located at 100 Alfred Lerner Way in downtown Cleveland.  Upon arrival, delegates should proceed to the Orange Room where they will be greeted by members of the IBF team.

Seating is limited, so we recommend you book early. If you are an intranet practitioner and would like to attend, register on the IBF website. An IBF representative will be in contact to confirm your place.

With representatives of specially invited major organisations such as Progressive Insurance, Sherwin Williams, Eaton and Dana Holding, the breakfast provides a great forum to network with other intranet professionals from existing and prospective DWG members.

In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to meet and hear perspectives from IBF Global Director Andy Jankowski, a thought leader in the intranet space and confirmed keynote speaker from the upcoming Ragan 2011 Intranet Summit.  Andy was also the host of the Los Angeles leg of the ground-breaking IBF 24 2011 event.

As well as showing us their home page and global navigation, PNC Bank’s live intranet tour will also feature their recently launched Lotus Connections-based collaboration space which has enjoyed significant adoption, and has produced some positive and surprising results.

Ernst & Young will also demonstrate their live intranet and share some enhancements they are planning which will help meet the challenges of distributing news to their global and diverse workforce. They will also show some of the innovative tools that have been deployed.
