2nd November 2011, New York

The Digital Workplace Group today announced that IBF CEO and Founder Paul Miller will be appearing at the  Intranätdagarna 2011:2 conference being held in Stockholm on the 16th and 17th November.  Miller will be interviewed by intranet pioneer and IBF associate Mark Morrell on his predictions for the top intranet and digital workplace trends of 2012.

Intranätdagarna 2011:2 is one of Scandinavia’s leading intranet conferences with a variety of keynote speakers and practitioners from successful organisations and companies.

Paul Miller, CEO and Founder of DWG, commented “I’m looking forward to speaking at Intranätdagarna 2011:2.  There’s a really strong set of speakers including Oscar Berg, Menno van Doorn and, of course, Mark Morrell. Swedish companies have always been forward thinking in how they deploy and use workplace technologies and it will be fascinating to hear how companies like Tetra Pak and Swedbank are using intranets and social tools to create real impact.”

Miller continued “In my keynote I’m going to be exploring some of the themes in my forthcoming book ‘Digital Workplace.’  I think 2012 is going to be a pivotal year for intranets and the Digital Workplace. Increasingly staff can work from any physical location, enabled by a variety of browser-based tools such as micro-blogging.  We are now starting to see a fundamental shift in the way physical offices and work itself is organised.”

Details of the full schedule and how to register for Intranätdagarna 2011:2 can be found by at http://bit.ly/rrKoAv (partly in Swedish).
