Press Release: The Coca-Cola Company and Amway both recently joined the Digital Workplace Group’s Member Forum in order to advance their intranets and broader digital workplaces. Both companies plan to benefit from the unique set of benchmarking, confidential peer learning and members-only research services included in the Member Forum.
New York, NY – April 28, 2014: As part of the drive to advance their intranets and digital workplaces, The Coca-Cola Company and Amway have both recently joined the Member Forum service of the Digital Workplace Group (DWG), a confidential peer learning and evaluation offering for large organizations.
The Coca-Cola Company directly employs around 100,000 people in 200 countries, has more than 700,000 “system associates” around the world and offers over 3,500 products. Coca-Cola has a huge need to share information and communicate with its workers, which leads to complex intranet requirements.
Amway employs over 21,000 people worldwide, operates in more than 100 countries and is one of the world’s largest direct selling businesses. With hundreds of home, health and beauty products, and a very entrepreneurial business model, Amway’s intranet faces a rich set of challenges.

The Coca-Cola Company and Amway can now access intranet and digital workplace research reports, view an extensive video library of live intranet tours and best practices, attend educational member events in person and online, and connect directly with other teams through a member social network.
DWG’s membership model allows for true intranet benchmarking, an evaluation and comparison service that consulting firms’ business models cannot offer. The highly focused research programme, along with extensive confidential peer learning opportunities, complement the benchmarking service to provide a complete environment of intranet and digital workplace continuous improvement.
Coca-Cola and Amway join a prominent list of DWG members, which includes global companies such as IKEA, ExxonMobil and Unilever.
