AI Readiness
Discovery Projects

The promise of AI-driven transformation often stalls at the point where experimentation should evolve into measurable business impact.

Why? Because most organizations have not adequately prepared for integrating AI into their operations and structures.

AI readiness is a decisive factor for organizational competitiveness in the digital economy.

Are your people AI ready?

AI literacy has been shown to be a major factor in shaping workforce opinions of AI and its adoption. If employees do not have the relevant skills and awareness, they are more likely to distrust the technology and less likely to be productive and innovative in its use.

Yet only 16% of executives consider their people to be AI-ready, and only 1 in 5 employers has an AI upskilling programme in place.*

To support you on your AI journey, DWG Consulting can conduct a focused assessment of your employees’ attitudes towards AI and the skills they will need to use it effectively through a People AI Readiness Discovery Project.

The core aim of the project is to help clients build a strong foundation of AI literacy within their employee base.

Our approach to AI readiness discovery

Using DWG’s Framework for Digital Workplace AI Literacy, our methodology for assessing the competence and confidence of employees and the gaps that must be filled by upskilling, the evaluation has three key elements:

1. Assess

Understanding the readiness of your workforce to use AI through a tailored, survey-based assessment of employee perspectives and their levels of AI confidence and competence (e.g. ‘I know how to prompt AI to get useful outputs’; ‘I recognize when I have put too much trust in AI’).

2. Engage

Interviewing a select group of employees to dig deeper into their motivations and attitudes and the support they might need to embrace AI.

3. Plan

Informing your AI upskilling work with a clear view of the current picture and the gaps revealed by it, including in the data and digital skills on which AI literacy critically depends (see above). Research shows that holistic digital upskilling programmes of this kind deliver greater return on investment than piecemeal initiatives.

Recent AI client engagements

DWG led a half-day, on-site workshop for the Corporate Communications team focused on accelerating AI adoption. The session combined real-world use cases, hands-on exercises and facilitated discussions around readiness, governance and opportunity areas. Participants collaborated to build a practical 90-day roadmap tailored to their communications workflows.

Outcome
The workshop provided clear direction and renewed momentum. Teams left with a prioritized plan, stronger alignment and greater confidence in how AI can responsibly support their work. The session also sparked follow-on conversations around advanced digital upskilling, positioning DWG as a trusted partner in their broader transformation journey.

DWG ran a four-hour strategic workshop for the Corporate Communications leadership team. The goal was to move from isolated AI experiments to an enterprise-level strategy. Our customized agenda included modules on governance, risk management and ROI measurement – critical considerations in an industrial context.

Outcome
The workshop provided the team with a clear vision on how the organization could become the industry leader in responsible AI adoption, and a 12-month roadmap for implementation. 75% of participants rated the session 5/5 and 25% rated it 4/5, citing the practical discussions, real-world case studies and hands-on pilot ideation as highlights.
