Paul Miller to address International Monetary Fund

September 11, 2019

London, UK – Paul Miller, Founder and CEO of Digital Workplace Group, will address the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this week as part of its Futurist Series.

Paul will speak to economists in Washington D.C. about digital workplace transformation and the future of work. As the Fund overhauls its own digital workplace, Paul’s talk, entitled “Working between stories”, will explore how our modern digital world is evolving rapidly, changing both our lives and work, and what we can expect in the future.

The Futurist Series brings outside voices to the IMF to spark ideas and foster diversity of thought. Past speakers have included authors Tom Friedman and Yuval Noah Harari, and chef José Andrés.

About the International Monetary Fund
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an organization of 189 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world.

Created in 1945, the IMF is governed by and accountable to the 189 countries that make up its near-global membership.

The IMF’s primary purpose is to ensure the stability of the international monetary system – the system of exchange rates and international payments that enables countries (and their citizens) to transact with each other. The Fund’s mandate was updated in 2012 to include all macroeconomic and financial sector issues that bear on global stability.
