How to write a digital workplace strategy – inspired by the IMF

“When we explained the strategy to all the departmental line managers, it resonated with them because they could see themselves in that picture: “Oh yes, that’s the same as when I was in Africa” and “Oh, it was like that when I was in the Office Six department.” So focusing on that stick man in the middle really resonated.”

– Nisreen Farhan, International Monetary Fund

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is embarking on a radical project to replace existing technology with a new digital workplace to improve productivity, collaboration and knowledge management.

Tasked with leading this digital transformation is Nisreen Farhan. Nisreen and her colleague, Ahmed Ammar, talk to Paul Miller about this fascinating organization and how they have developed their digital workplace strategy.

Follow the conversation as they explain how the project came about; describe their approach and how the Digital Workplace Experience conference was key; and marvel at the power of a stick man sketch!
