Winner of Digital Workplace Leader of the Year 2019 – Marc Bramoullé at Ubisoft
At DWG, we get excited about passionate people in our industry. So much so, in 2017, we decided to create an industry award so that we could share our excitement and reward exceptional digital workplace leaders. In 2019, it was Ubisoft’s Marc Bramoullé who stepped up to the podium at the DW Experience conference in Chicago to receive the prestigious award for Digital Workplace Leader of the Year, from DWG CEO Paul Miller. The Awards are produced by DWG in partnership with SMG/CMSWire, and celebrate organizations and practitioners who have excelled in creating well-executed, high-performing digital workplace environments.
For the first time in 2019, we published a shortlist of nominees for Digital Workplace Leader of the Year. The names on the list are nothing short of inspirational with leaders from organizations such as Adobe, Oxfam, IKEA, UNHCR and General Electric featured. It was, without doubt, Marc Bramoullé, Director of Knowledge Management Services at Ubisoft, who stood out from the crowd in 2019 as the winner of the Digital Workplace Leader of the Year award. His impressive achievements, industry contributions, creativity and overall approach to the digital workplace made him this year’s winner.
DWG CEO Paul Miller commented after presenting the award to Marc in Chicago:
“Marc Bramoullé is an exceptional individual. What I love about his approach is that he has enabled Ubisoft to create a digital workplace that has a clear Ubisoft character and personality. But somehow Marc has kept a superb balance; as well as thinking so originally about this environment, the services and tools developed really deliver what’s needed for this unusual global workforce.”
For nearly a decade, Marc has been at the forefront of a series of radical changes to Ubisoft’s digital workplace environment. Now the Director of Knowledge Management Services at Ubisoft, he’s been hands-on with various aspects of the programme over the years including enterprise search, the enterprise social network, content strategy and management, as well as developing the digital workplace vision.
