Paul Miller to give opening keynote at Melcrum’s Digital Comms Summit in San Francisco

April 26, 2012

26th April 2012, New York & London

The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) is pleased to announce that Paul Miller, CEO and Founder of the Digital Workplace Group and the Digital Workplace Forum will deliver the opening keynote address at the forthcoming Melcrum Digital Comms Summit. The summit is due to be held in San Francisco on May 2-3 2012.

Miller’s appearance follows his successful keynote at Melcrum’s equivalent summit in London.  Again he will be speaking on the theme of the future of digital communications through 2012 and beyond.

Paul Miller said “I’m looking forward to the San Francisco Summit and continuing some of the fascinating conversations that I started in London. Melcrum’s communication-focused events are always strong, and attract a great line-up of speakers from prestigious companies such as Alcatal-Lucent and Sears Holdings.

Miller continued “Work’s long-term dependency on the office is unraveling. Employees no longer have to be in one fixed location to do what they need to do. Increases in mobility and virtual working are transforming the way leaders communicate, and how co-workers interact with each other. I’ll be looking at the opportunities and challenges that companies are facing in this extremely exciting area.”

Miller will be drawing on the insights contained in his brand new book “The Digital Workplace: How Technology is Liberating Work.”  He will cover diverse topics such as best practices on improving search and usability, as well as some of the associated human challenges of the Digital Workplace, including increased isolation.
