Digital Workplace Experience 2018 – 7 reasons why you should attend
As the bookings for Digital Workplace Experience 2018 are hotting up and the Early Bird offer is fast coming to a close (May 1, 2018) – the stellar list of attendee organizations continues to grow and we thought we’d take a look in this blog at some of the compelling reasons why you should be there too with:
1. Be a digital workplace leader
This unique collaboration between DWG and is an interactive event offering early access to new research, in-depth workshops and candid case studies. Along with the workshops and executive boardroom discussions that share warts-and-all analysis of peer projects, this wealth of new knowledge will really make you stand out.
2. See inside the world’s biggest and best digital workplaces
Get an exclusive view inside NASA, Walmart, H&R Block, Southwest Airlines and others through our unique live tours. Discover how they run their digital workplaces, as DWX 2018 will showcase content-led, rich experiences from the world’s best digital workplaces.
As Paul Miller, Founder and CEO of DWG, says: “The range of talks, insights and stories from our guest speakers will make for a rewarding and inspiring few days.”
3. Take part in the interactive workshops
Bringing you face-to-face with the world’s most advanced employee experience, modern intranet and company culture practitioners, our 12 fantastic, interactive workshops will be at the heart of your experience.
The workshops centre around the five key conference tracks
- Leadership, strategy and company culture
- Employee experience
- Digital workplace platforms
- The intelligent workplace
- Measurement and optimization
Led by expert practitioners including digital influencer and futurist Dion Hinchcliffe, Director of The Enterprise Social Engineer Rita Zonius, and Intranet Program Manager at H&R Block Karen Downs, plus our very own Digital Workplace Group experts Edward Taylor, Shimrit Janes and Kevin Olp, the workshops will explore key topics including digital workplace tools, design thinking, content strategy, digital workplace measurement, knowledge management and digital workplace adoption.
Taking place on June 18, day one of the conference, some of the workshops are booking up fast so make sure you register today!
4. Get some digital workplace therapy!
Take a seat on the couch at the exclusive DWG Clinic. Promoting healthy digital workplaces, the clinic provides delegates with the opportunity to discuss any acute ailments or chronic conditions affecting their digital workplace with a senior DWG consultant. Having listened to the symptoms, the DWG doctor will recommend a “prescription” or course of treatment – and, even if there’s no instant cure available, just talking to an understanding digital workplace therapist may help anyway!
5. Get a free DWG diagnostic
As part of your conference pass, DWG has included a sampler 10-minute diagnostic that you can use for a quick check of the Digital Workplace Maturity of your organization. Your results will be analysed and compared with DWG’s many assessments to date.
You’ll get informative, meaningful resulting documentation about your digital workplace. You’ll be able to see, in a snapshot version, how your company stacks up against the rest. Of course, this is not meant to be a substitute for a full in-depth benchmarking assessment with a thorough 80-page assessment deliverable, but it is a “taster” of that larger effort – and your results will be actionable!
Your Digital Workplace Maturity measurement will provide you with a real document that you can take to your team for stakeholder conversations. You can actually use this information as a project start point or for budget justification.
6. Enter the Digital Workplace of the Year Awards 2018
The Awards return for 2018 to celebrate organizations and practitioners who have excelled at creating well-executed, high-performing digital workplace environments. The winners and runners-up will be announced at DWX 2018 in Chicago.
Submitting an entry will give you and your organization the opportunity to share your digital workplace achievements with peers and to gain global, industry recognition!
