Our intranet beauty pageant came back – with a twist.
This year, we showcased sites which put the “social” into “social intranet”.
As our recent blog series makes clear, combining user-generated and official content in a way which genuinely engages employees is a key challenge for intranet teams.
Examples are emerging, however, of sites which have successfully embedded social tools into their online workflow with visual flair and a high regard for usability and adoption. It’s these pioneering intranets that we aim to recognize in this year’s contest.
The competition is now closed and the winner has been announced. Our congratulations go to International Enterprise Singapore and the team behind IEX, its highly interactive and convivial intranet, and also to GfK, whose gNet site came a very close second.
