“The next generation workforce is going to favour meaningful work over higher pay, and give their loyalty to where their values are reflected.”

- Jo Skilton, Unily

With an eye (always) on the future, DWG and Unily have both explored what the world of work may look like in 2030 and beyond, through Digital Workplace 2030: Preparing now for the digital worlds of work to come and Future of the workplace 2030+.

In this episode, Paul Miller talks to Sam Hassani and Jo Skilton, senior executives at Unily, about their report, which has four dimensions: The Emotional Workplace – what attitudes will dominate the workplace; The Physical Workplace – what the offices of the future will look like; The Smart Workplace – how technology and AI will shape the workplace; and The Purposeful Workplace – what will drive us to work.

Tune in as they compare and contrast the two research reports, discuss the key findings and share what they think we can expect from the workplace over the next decade, including some amusing “job titles from the future”.

Please note that the interview with Unily took place in February, before coronavirus was declared a pandemic.
