Thanks for visiting the Digital Workplace Group (DWG) website. You'll see this post may refer to the "Intranet Benchmarking Forum (IBF)," the "Digital Workplace Forum (DWF)" or "IBF Live." But that doesn't match our website name!

In a nutshell, we merged IBF and DWF into one service and changed our name to "Digital Workplace Group." The new name represents the broader set of services we've grown to offer, beyond an original focus on just intranets. We also changed the name of our monthly webinar from "IBF Live" to "Digital Workplace Live."

Although we've relabelled things, we're proud of our decade+ history and have left this page intact. Enjoy your time on our site and please contact us with any questions or comments.

All participants completing the survey, which should take about five to ten minutes, will receive a summary of the results and relevant analysis.

The survey accompanies a research briefing paper on resourcing enterprise search prepared by Martin White which will be available for DWG members.

How to adequately resource search is a theme which has emerged through DWG’s Knowledge Exchange online sessions and also in member meetings.  It is not uncommon for organizations to put search technology in place but then under-estimate the level of investment needed in skilled resource to make it work properly. Martin White’s paper will cover the types of roles and practices required for effective enterprise search, and how to go about making a business case for it.

We hope the accompanying survey will uncover insights on which roles organizations are currently using to manage search, and what they are planning to do in the near future.

The survey can be reached at www.surveymonkey.com/s/IBFEnterpriseSearchSurvey

All answers will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be passed on. For more details please visit our privacy statement at https://digitalworkplacegroup.com/privacy-statement/.

All participants will receive a summary of the survey results and relative analysis.
