Evolving the employee mobile experience
DWG’s new exclusive member research report ‘Evolving the employee mobile experience: six key approaches for success” examines six of the foundational approaches that organizations need to take in order to successfully evolve the mobile experience within their organization.
The great majority of digital workplace and intranet strategies aim to create a platform that provides access for employees regardless of time, location and device. Access from mobile devices helps support more flexible working patterns, drives efficiency and extends channels to frontline workers.
Despite the obvious benefits, progress has generally been piecemeal to date. The report covers some of the important approaches which teams need to undertake to move mobile forward successfully including considering strategy and governance, addressing security concerns, removing barriers to usage, working with apps for maximum impact and more. This report also includes three detailed case studies from companies at different stages of their mobile journey – Virgin Trains, Roland Berger Consulting and Heathrow Airport.

About DWG research
The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) carries out research into best practice in intranet and portal deployment. Covering the hottest topics in the intranet world, the studies we undertake are rooted in practical examples from among DWG member organizations as well as leading non-member companies. The results of this in-depth research act as a basis for decision-making, a source of ideas, and the basis for rich interactions between participants at DWG meetings. Generally, members are given exclusive access to our findings, although we do from time to time make a report available to non-members.
