27 September 2012, New York and London

The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) is excited to announce it is co-sponsoring the 2012 Interaction Intranet Conference, the leading intranet-themed event of its kind in the UK. The conference takes place next week on 3 October at the America Square Conference Centre, London.

Now in its second year, this prestigious event involves an impressive list of international speakers, many of whom are well-known in the intranet space, and also have connections with IBF.

DWG’s Helen Day will be co-presenting with Susanne Rolf from IKEA on how IBF benchmarking and membership has helped IKEA on their intranet journey, ensuring it is a truly effective global communications platform.

Senior IBF benchmarker Sam Marshall will also be presenting a session which explores strategies and practical examples for driving user adoption.

Other renowned speakers include Martin White who has contributed to the IBF research program, as well as Lee Bryant and Michael Sampson, who both appeared on DWG’s ground-breaking online broadcast IBF 24 in 2011.

Helen Day, Managing Director of the Digital Workplace Group, said “I’m delighted to be speaking at the Interaction Conference with Susanne Rolf from IKEA. Our session, titled ‘How good is your intranet?’ will illustrate how impartial assessment has powered IKEA’s strategic planning around its intranet.”

Angela Pohl, Managing Director of DWG, said “We’re proud to be sponsoring this conference and to be associated with such a great line-up of speakers. For over a decade IBF has helped to shape and define the intranet industry, so we’re very pleased to be involved with the Interaction Conference which is rapidly establishing itself as a key event on the global intranet calendar.”
