Intranet pioneer Mark Morrell to speak on behalf of IBF at Interaction 2011, London Intranet Conference

Today the Digital Workplace Group (DWG) announced that Mark Morrell will be representing IBF when he speaks at Interaction 2011, the London Intranet Conference being held in October.

Interaction 2011, being held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, takes place on the 13th October. The conference is organised by Interact Intranet and brings together some of the world’s best intranet speakers.

Morrell’s presentation at Interaction 2011 is titled “Good Governance = Engaged People.” He will explore methods of intranet leadership which not only benefit the platform, but lead to a more enthusiastic and involved workforce.

Mark Morrell said “I’m thrilled to be representing IBF at Interaction 2011. There’s a great line-up of both intranet practitioners and thinkers including Sam Marshall, James Robertson and Lee Bryant. Mark Morrell is a well-respected figure amongst the global intranet community. For many years he ran the BT intranet, considered to be one of the finest intranets in the world. Since leaving BT he has leveraged his wealth of experience to help other organisations in the areas of intranet and digital workplace strategy and implementation, as well as being involved with IBF on various different projects.
