Digital Workplace Group sponsors Intranet & Digital Workplace Summit in Chicago, July 29–31
Press Release: The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) will be a sponsor of the first US-based Intranet & Digital Workplace Summit, to take place in Chicago, July 29–31. The conference’s focus on practitioner-based case studies from large organizations aligns with DWG’s commitment to independence and honest peer learning.
New York, NY – May 5, 2014: The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) will partner with the Advanced Learning Institute (ALI) to sponsor the inaugural Intranet & Digital Workplace Summit in Chicago, July 29th through 31st. Presentations of real-world case studies from major organizations, such as Wells Fargo, IBM and General Mills, will fill the bulk of the conference agenda.
The conference, subtitled “How to improve internal communications and increase collaboration and employee engagement to drive business results” addresses today’s key intersecting trends faced by intranet and digital workplace teams.
The Advanced Learning Institute (ALI) produces conferences throughout North America on many topics related to intranets and digital workplaces. ALI conference topics include:
- SharePoint for Internal Communications (May 13th–15th in New York City),
- Strategic Internal Communications (July 15th –17th in Boston), and
- Employee Engagement & Internal Brand Activation (August 5th–7th in San Diego).
This is ALI’s first digital workplace-focused conference and is the first Intranet & Digital Workplace Summit in North America.
DWG rarely sponsors external conferences, but found a perfect fit in this event. The summit puts real intranet and digital workplace practitioners in the spotlight, as opposed to many conferences that act as platforms for software vendors and consultancies to promote their products and services.
ALI’s commitment to practitioners resonates strongly with DWG’s member-based benchmarking approach and vendor neutrality. DWG provides independent benchmarking, in-depth research and advanced peer learning to large organizations to help them succeed in the increasingly complex delivery of intranets and digital workplaces.
