Digital Workplace Group (DWG) opens new European office in Malmö, Sweden – as a home for DWG’s new Technology Advisory Unit.
DWG is thrilled to announce the opening of a new European office in Malmö, Sweden, as the location for our new Technology Advisory Unit, which will service large corporate and public sector organizations in northern Europe and globally.
This expansion is driven by:
- Strong growth in our Scandinavian membership base in 2020, including Vattenfall and Play’n Go.
- The appointment of Patrik Bergman as Nordics Community Manager.
- Ever closer relationships through the DWG Institute with the Nordic technology sector.
- Great ‘digital chemistry’ with the technologically advanced City of Malmö, a tech haven for well-established organizations and start-ups alike.
Our decision was somewhat influenced by an entry to DWG’s Digital Workplace of the Year Awards 2020 from the City of Malmö, which went on to win the award for User Engagement. Every single judge commented, after reading the entry, that they’d like to move there – or at least to visit. Entries for the 2021 Digital Workplace of the Year Awards are now open.
This new office, in Mindpark Malmö Central, comes hand in hand with the launch of the DWG Tech Advisory Unit. As we to return to workplaces, our members have increasingly been faced with more and more complex challenges.
The need to integrate with extra services in order to create ever-more immersive digital workplace solutions and employee experiences in a rapidly changing digital environment means the demand for advanced technological knowledge is stronger than ever.
Bringing together experts in this field, L Vargas, Agnes Molnar, Kimberley Morrison, Sharon Rahmanian, Patrik Bergman, and more, the DWG Tech Advisory Unit has been created to support our members and clients in the rapidly changing digital workplace landscape, bringing increased value to the DWG membership community.
Paul Miller, DWG Founder and CEO, says: “For almost 20 years we have combined excellence in digital workplace transformation with passion, enjoyment and instinct.
Most UK businesses are creating bases in Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Dublin – and these are all great cities – but for us Malmö and Sweden stand apart. It’s also a great excuse to make visiting our new office my first overseas trip since the pandemic arrived!”
