Digital Workplace Group Awards 2026 – winners announced
London, UK, September 16, 2026 – Digital Workplace Group (DWG) has announced the winners of its annual Digital Workplace Group Awards.
During a special live online awards ceremony held on September 15, DWG CEO, Nancy Goebel, and Awards Chair, Elizabeth Marsh, alongside an independent panel of judges, revealed the organizations recognized for outstanding achievement in digital workplace excellence this year.
Now in their ninth year, the Digital Workplace Group Awards celebrate organizations and practitioners who are creating innovative, high-performing digital workplaces that help employees work more effectively while delivering measurable business value.
The winners for 2026 are:
DBS Bank for AI-Enabled Workplace Transformation
Comcast for Agentic AI Innovation
PNC Bank for Digital Workplace Operational Excellence
The judges also awarded Honourable Mentions to five organizations whose entries demonstrated excellence in specific areas of digital workplace practice:
Alliander for Field Worker Experience Excellence
BCD Travel for Trusted Foundations for AI
Northwestern Mutual for Search and Findability Innovation
PwC US for Human-Centred Digital Communication
Robert Walters for Digital Workplace as Business Enabler
Commenting on this year’s awards, Elizabeth Marsh said:
“This year’s entries reflected a profession that is maturing rapidly. While AI was a prominent theme, the strongest submissions showed something deeper: how digital workplace teams are creating trusted, integrated experiences that connect people, knowledge and services in ways that deliver measurable value for both employees and the business. Across the winners, we saw a common thread: innovation built on strong foundations, thoughtful governance and a clear focus on helping people work better.
The breadth and quality of this year’s cohort made the judging process both challenging and rewarding. The winners and honourable mentions demonstrate that there is no single formula for success, but each has a story that offers valuable lessons for the wider digital workplace community. We are delighted to celebrate their achievements and share their stories.”
Across the 2026 awards submissions, several themes stood out. Entries highlighted the growing maturity of AI-enabled employee experiences, the importance of trusted content and governance foundations, advances in search and findability, stronger support for frontline and field-based workers, and an increasing focus on measurable business outcomes. Together, they demonstrate how the digital workplace is evolving from a collection of tools into a trusted environment that helps employees navigate work with greater confidence and effectiveness.
The three winning organizations exemplified different dimensions of digital workplace excellence:
DBS Bank impressed the judges with a responsibly governed AI ecosystem serving more than 40,000 employees across 19 markets, integrating knowledge, learning, employee services and workplace readiness into a cohesive experience.
Comcast was recognized for its AI-powered workforce agent, Cai, which is transforming the intranet into an intelligent action layer embedded in the flow of work.
PNC Bank demonstrated how operational excellence, employee adoption and strong foundations can enable innovation at scale through its ‘brilliantly boring’ approach to the digital workplace.
The entry and judging criteria for the awards are underpinned by DWG’s research, benchmarking and advisory work, together with extensive industry expertise from the judging panel.
Over the coming months, DWG will publish detailed profiles of the winning entries and host exclusive member sessions where representatives from the winning organizations will share deeper insights into their strategies, lessons learned and results achieved.
