British Council joins the Intranet Benchmark Forum

October 19, 2010

The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) today announced the British Council are the latest organisation to become members of the Digital Workplace Group.

Originally members from 2007 to 2009, IBF is thrilled to welcome the British Council back into the fold. Connecting the UK to the world and the world to the UK, the British Council is Britain’s international cultural relations body. Their activities – whether in the arts, science, sport, English teaching, climate change or education – nurture greater trust and understanding between different countries and cultures.

They also build strong international links to and from Britain, opening doors for the UK onto the rest of the world and for the world back to the UK. Millions of people each year learn English, find out more about British culture and study in the UK through the British Council. The British Council featured on Digital Workplace Live in March, demonstrating their redesigned intranet built on SharePoint. The British Council will be benefitting from DWG’s expert benchmarking, leading edge research and interaction with fellow DWG members.
