Barclays to give exclusive mobile intranet demo at Digital Workplace Group meeting in London, Feb 18th
On Tuesday, February 18th in Central London the Digital Workplace Group (DWG) and Barclays will host a private meeting of intranet teams from large companies. In an environment of confidential sharing Barclays will provide a rare in-depth tour of its award-winning mobile intranets.
London, United Kingdom – Feb 6, 2014: At a private meeting in Barclays’ London offices, members of the Digital Workplace Group (DWG) Member Forum will share best practice, real-world stories and live tours related to mobile intranets. The Barclays team will provide an in-depth tour of the company’s award-winning mobile intranet, called “My Zone”.
In 2013 Barclays won a Platinum Intranet Innovation Award for its mobile intranet, called MyZone. Step Two Designs, an intranet consultancy headed by global intranet expert James Robertson, runs the Intranet Innovation Awards (IIAs).
Barclays won the award because, according to the award website, it “created a mobile intranet for frontline staff with a rich functionality set resulting in tangible outcomes such as increased knowledge sharing, improved employee engagement and reduced costs”.
