Verizon’s mobile intranet
Verizon is well established as an intranet leader, with two Nielsen Norman Top 10 awards (2005 and 2011) already under its belt.
Now, the Verizon team is again leading the way with a brand new mobile intranet, featuring employee news and employee search, as well as key HR and administrative tasks. In the near future, social features will also be integrated, following a launch of Jive.
The new site uses responsive web design to provide a consistent user experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. It also features simple, linear navigation and clear, succinctly written content, designed to support users on the go.
Verizon is one of the largest US-based providers of wireless broadband and communications services to US consumers, as well as of global business networking, data and managed solutions to enterprises worldwide.
