Insider Insights: Amplifying digital inclusion for ESG with Capgemini and Digital Unite
Featured as a case study in our ‘ESG and the digital workplace’ research briefing paper, the Capgemini and Digital Unite partnership began in early 2020. The aim initially was to deliver face-to-face training to Capgemini employees, so that they in turn would then be able to train others in basic digital skills.
The COVID-19 pandemic meant they had to adapt quickly and innovate these plans. The result was the co-development of a digital inclusion training programme, called ‘Inspire’, which could be delivered remotely and helped employees to make volunteering pledges to support the digital literacy of people in their networks. From there, the partnership has gone from strength to strength, extending the impact beyond the boundaries of Capgemini.
During the session, we’ll hear more about:
- the importance of digital inclusion
- why digital inclusion is a key pillar of Capgemini’s ESG work
- how the ‘Inspire’ platform and programme were born to support digitally skilled employees to pass on their knowledge to others
- how a test, learn, adapt mindset has been essential for their success.
We’ll also have time for questions and discussion.
