Digital Workplace of the Year Awards – Extending the entry deadline to July 20
As the global COVID-19 crisis unfolds, digital workplaces and the teams that run them have suddenly become (even more) central to the way organizations operate. The steep climb in demand for remote working as well as the need to communicate and work in new, fluid and transparent ways are all meaning that the technologists, communicators, managers and many others responsible for digital working are on the frontline of the response of organizations.
Within and beyond DWG, we’re seeing and hearing about ways in which digital workplace teams are bringing exceptional creativity and focus to helping the workforce stay productive and connected as more and more people work from home. These include rapid rollouts of collaboration tools, setting up online wellbeing sessions for staff, increasing use of video conferencing, ramping up support and training options, regular and open communication between leaders and employees – and more.
The way the digital workplace – at whatever stage of maturity it is – supports the organization now will have a knock-on impact for how it gets prioritized, invested in and managed as we emerge from the crisis.
For all these reasons and because we know that teams in this space are under enormous pressure, we’ve extended the Awards deadline to allow more time for entries, with the new closing date now midnight (GMT) July 20, 2020.
The Awards are produced by DWG and celebrate organizations and practitioners who have excelled in creating well-executed, high-performing digital workplace environments.
For 2020 there are two categories:
- Digital Workplace of the Year 2020 (awarded to an organization), open to submission by any organization, with one overall winner and several category awards.
- Digital Workplace Leader of the Year 2020 (awarded to an individual) – nominated by peer experts, with one overall winner and several category awards.

The deadline to submit your entry is now midnight (GMT) on July 20, 2020. The winners will be announced live during DWG24 – a unique digital workplace insight event, broadcasting from around the world over 24 hours from September 31 to October 1, keep an eye on our website for more details.
