The future is here, it’s time to catch up

Digital is at the heart of organizational transformation in our current era. While it is often the external digital initiatives that attract the most attention, many organizations are starting to realize the potential of digital transformation that begins from the inside out.

This is the digital workplace programme and it is being used to fundamentally transform organizations and develop new ways of working. However, many organizations are entering this transformational era with little or no idea of how it will impact their operations, let alone a plan on how to leverage the potential benefits and avoid pitfalls.

In this master class we guide you through a checklist for setting up the digital workplace programme in your organization – with examples and insights from DWG’s research and an opportunity to discuss challenges and approaches within the group.

  1. I’d like to investigate the costs and agenda for the NY Masterclass. It’s not obvious on your site on how to access that information. Please advise. Thank you. Ann

  2. Ephraim Freed

Hi Ann. Thanks for the note. I’m sorry about the lack of clarity around costs and agenda.

The NY Masterclass on March 13th is part of a DWG Member Forum meeting. These Member Meetings are private, confidential gatherings of intranet and digital workplace teams from large organizations.

For each Member Meeting we set aside a few seats for potential guests. The criteria for those guests is that they 1) are from large organizations, 2) are prepared to actively contribute to meeting discussions and 3) agree to our meeting confidentiality agreements (basically, nothing said or shown in the meeting leaves the room in an attributable form).

Having non-member guest companies attend member meetings can enrich discussions, which is why there is no fee for the few guest spots we maintain. But guests must meet the above criteria.

I’ll ask Nancy Goebel to connect with you to find out if you are comfortable with the above set of criteria and to discuss the overall agenda. Then perhaps we can welcome you to the meeting as a guest!

Great to see these events are taking place. I’m based in Australia and wondering if any of the masterclasses will be shaped into a webinar to reach a broader audience. Thanks.

  4. Ephraim Freed

    Hi Nicole – That’s a great idea.

We will look into offering our Digital Workplace Masterclass as a webinar.

The question for you, though, is whether or not we can hold it during a time of day that works well for you. How do you feel about midnight webinars?
