Thanks for visiting the Digital Workplace Group (DWG) website. You'll see this post may refer to the "Intranet Benchmarking Forum (IBF)," the "Digital Workplace Forum (DWF)" or "IBF Live." But that doesn't match our website name!

In a nutshell, we merged IBF and DWF into one service and changed our name to "Digital Workplace Group." The new name represents the broader set of services we've grown to offer, beyond an original focus on just intranets. We also changed the name of our monthly webinar from "IBF Live" to "Digital Workplace Live."

Although we've relabelled things, we're proud of our decade+ history and have left this page intact. Enjoy your time on our site and please contact us with any questions or comments.

6th September 2011, New York

The Digital Workplace Group is delighted to announce that IBF Global Director Andy Jankowski will be speaking at the forthcoming Social Intranet Summit held in Vancouver on 28th September 2011.   Jankowski’s presentation is entitled “The Science Linking Intranets to Happiness”.

The Social Intranet Summit, organised by OpenRoad and ThoughtFarmer, is a leading event in the intranet calendar. A prestigious mix of intranet managers, social software practitioners will provide a day of inspiring presentations and practical advice on how to drive business with a social intranet.  The conference will be held at the stunning Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) on the 28th September.

Andy Jankowski said, “I’m really looking forward to speaking again at the Social Intranet Summit in Vancouver. I had an excellent time last year, and it’s an honor to be asked back again especially with a line-up which includes influential figures like Shel Holtz and Stowe Boyd. “

Jankowski continued “This year I’m going to be talking about two subjects which are really close to my heart – positive psychology and intranets!  They’re not often mentioned in the same sentence, but they should be.  I’m going to explore how the latest research into positive psychology shown in books like Tony Hsieh’s “Delivering Happiness” and in Jenn Lim’s “Delivering Happiness Movement”, demonstrates how the social intranet can actually have a very real effect on employee happiness and wellbeing.”

The full line-up of the Social Intranet Summit can be viewed at www.socialintranetsummit.com/summit.   To register and  claim a 20% discount on the current ticket price use the promotional code SISVANDY.

The Social Intranet Conference kicks off a busy fall for Jankowski, who has a number of other speaking engagements lined up including appearances at KM World 2011 and a keynote at the Ragan Communications 2011 Intranet Summit.
