Thanks for visiting the Digital Workplace Group (DWG) website. You'll see this post may refer to the "Intranet Benchmarking Forum (IBF)," the "Digital Workplace Forum (DWF)" or "IBF Live." But that doesn't match our website name!
In a nutshell, we merged IBF and DWF into one service and changed our name to "Digital Workplace Group." The new name represents the broader set of services we've grown to offer, beyond an original focus on just intranets. We also changed the name of our monthly webinar from "IBF Live" to "Digital Workplace Live."
Although we've relabelled things, we're proud of our decade+ history and have left this page intact. Enjoy your time on our site and please contact us with any questions or comments.
We are really excited here at Digital Workplace Group as IBF 24draws ever closer.
If you haven’t already heard about IBF 24, where have you been? It’s our 24 hour online extravanza featuring a who’s who of the internet and intranet world.
So what’s different about IBF 24 to any other online event I hear you thinking?
Firstly – the duration. As the name suggests it does indeed run over the course of 24 hours. In fact it’s shaping up to be the longest and largest digital workplace gathering ever!
24 hour online conference – IBF sounding slightly crazy, we do realise!
But here’s the second difference. We’ve put together an amazing agenda to fill the 24 hours, including a selection of tours of global intranets, panels discussing relevant issues and some of the more interesting names in the digital field.
On the tour side of the agenda – you can see behind the firewall of T-Mobile, American Electric Power, British Airways, Ernst & Young and DWG’s top performing intranet BT, amongst others – as they will all be revealing their portals – warts and all.
Expect heated debates in the ‘Women of the Web’ section as a panel of leaders come together to discuss opportunities and challenges for women working in web industries. Also be enlightened with our Intranet Managers Career Path discussion.
One of the most popular bloggers in the field – Shannon Paul – will also be on the show to discuss social media and it’s integration into PR and marketing strategies. We are also delighted to have influential blogger Jeff Jarvis – the writer of the hugely popular and fascinating “What Would Google Do?” on the show. John Abell of Wired.com will also be looking at current and future trends in new technology and their influence in the digital workplace. We have a host of other guest speakers confirmed – author’s, CEO’s, bloggers, thinkers, futurists and people we just find really interesting.
There’s a third difference that is particularly important to us. IBF 24 is completely free. We want this to be the biggest gathering of the digital workplace industry event!
To reserve your place – book now. Also, to make it an even more memorable experience, why not take a look at the agenda and book a meeting room to share the content with your colleagues.
Be sure not to miss this genuinely groundbreaking event, and interact with us live over the 24 hours on Twitter at @IBF.
