About Accenture’s intranet

You may have heard of Accenture – it’s a small company with 260 employees. No. Wait… That’s 260,000 employees!

Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Its huge staff spans 120 countries and provides consulting for virtually every industry imaginable.

Like other consulting companies, Accenture’s most critical resource is its own employees’ knowledge. Its Jive-based social intranet, which is still in early stages of use, not only allows Accenture’s employees to share their know-how, but also lets the company exemplify the technology and performance expertise that they provide to clients.
